> Call Centre Software are tools that help organisations manage their inbound and outbound communications with customers over the telephone. When compared against conventional business phone systems, they enable contact centres to deploy smaller remote teams with potentially higher productivity, greater flexibility, enhanced security, easier cross-department collaboration, and lower costs. Call centre software comes with a long list of features. These include call logging, recording, and automatic call distribution to ensure that an appropriate operator is assigned to each call. It also comes with interactive voice recognition (IVR) for greetings, queuing, and customer data input. Another common feature of call centre software is queue management which can help manage pending calls. Though conventionally thought of as a type of Business Phone System or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Software, call centre software is evolving and extending to channels such as email, instant messaging, live chat, SMS text, and social media. Over the years, the line that separated it from Contact Centre Software and Customer Service Software has become blurred.
