I wouldn’t use anything else. It’s the industry standard for design programs so it makes collaboration really easy. Because it’s the go-to program if I ever can’t remember how to do something or want to try something new a quick google search will give me a ton of tutorials and tips. I honestly wouldn’t even consider using anything else.
Pros
It is hands down the best vector design software. The monthly subscription means you get all the updates as they’re rolled out. Adobe are constantly listening to creatives and designers who use the software to improve workflows and speed up design time.
Cons
There isn’t much to be honest. I sometimes accidentally activate the perspective grid and can never remember how to turn it off but as far as dislikes go, it sometimes a slight annoyance.

Pros
Illustrator is an industry-standard vector editing program. Whether you're a full-time illustrator or a designer who needs to vectorize a logo concept, Illustrator has the tools you need to bring your ideas to life.
Cons
The learning curve for Illustrator can be steep. This can make the barrier of entry difficult, but once you find your footing the product is so powerful it more than makes up for the time spent getting started. Illustrator can also sometimes bog down with intensive illustrations if your hardware is not up to the task.

Overall, Adobe Illustrator is a powerhouse for vector graphic design, offering unparalleled precision and creative control. Despite its initial complexity, the investment in learning pays off with professional-grade results. The frequent updates and integration with Adobe's ecosystem further enhance its utility. It’s an indispensable tool for any serious graphic designer, balancing power and flexibility.
Pros
Adobe Illustrator's precision and versatility stand out. The ability to create scalable vector graphics with incredible detail is unmatched. The wide array of tools and effects, coupled with seamless integration with other Adobe Creative Cloud apps, enhances workflow efficiency. Its robust performance, even with complex designs, makes it a favorite among graphic designers.
Cons
The steep learning curve can be a drawback for beginners. Its extensive toolset, while powerful, can be overwhelming initially. Additionally, Illustrator's subscription model may be a barrier for some users, and occasional performance lags with very large files can disrupt workflow. These factors can impact accessibility and usability for new and budget-conscious designers.

Comprehensive Overview of Adobe Illustrator software

Adobe Illustrator is a strong vector graphics program with excellent precision and scalability, making it appropriate for a wide range of creative jobs. It provides a broad tool set and easy connectivity with other Adobe Creative Cloud products, which improves workflow productivity. Users can benefit from large resources and personalized workspaces, but the software requires a steep learning curve and is expensive. Furthermore, it is resource-intensive and has a sophisticated interface, with less raster capabilities than Photoshop.
Pros
Adobe illustrator hosts a wide number of tools and features that are used for drawing, coloring, and editing your illustrations. It has a Pen tool, Shape Builder, and even gradients to cater to versatile design needs. What ever work we created with in can be scaled up or down without losing quality, making it ideal for both small icons and large banners.
Cons
Cost is the one of the primary drawback for this tool. For beginners it is tool expensive to afford. Initially there was a plan to do one time purchase, later they made it as a subscription format which is made most of the individual users to think for an alternative tool.

I have been using Adobe illustrator from last 5 years and i am extremely happy with it. I do not imagine my workday without using Illustrator. It take some time to learn this software but once you get a hang of it there is not turning back.
Pros
This software is feature heavy that makes it perfect to work on any kind of design projects. Be it small designs for social media or a huge billboard design, it works for all.
Designing illustration is very easy once you get a hang of the software and its shortcut. Once you start using it you may not want to switch to any other tool for illustration and graphic designing.
There is huge library of learning resources which make it very easy to use and every problem faced here you will get 100s of solutions online.
Cons
Learning curve is one of the major drawback with this tool.
Photo editing has limited capability, little advance feature in this area can make this software all in one for graphic designing.
You need high end system to run this flawlessly.

Overall I think Adobe Illustrator is a tool that allows for an unlimited degree of freedom when looking to design creative artworks. Illustrator has an unbelievable variety of tools and utilities to help designers really make great designs. It is hard to think of any way to improve the tool.
Pros
I like the creative freedom Illustrator gives me when working. I feel unrestricted when using Illustrator and using vectors give me so much flexibility to produce artwork I can then use in any size which is critical when working in a marketing agency environment. I particularly like the inclusion of new tools like the 'intertwine tool' which really help when creating more complex artworks.
Cons
I sometimes find the software can be incredibly resource-intensive and doesn't handle raster files as well as I'd like. With this said, recent improvements to tools like the 'live trace' tool have helped a lot.

Pros
Very large extent of the features: precise control of the vectors, advanced color management, management of layers, different export and import possibilities, management of multiple pages (allows to create short documents more quickly than InDesign, especially if they are heavy in visuals), good handling of text.
