Help Desk Migration helped me in the migration to a new ticketing system to handle our clients' support requests. We had a very consistent ticket history in the old system, and thanks to Help Desk Migration we were able to keep this archive in the new ticketing system without a hitch.

Pros

Help Desk Migration's support was flawless. We were followed step by step with extreme professionalism and attention to detail throughout the entire migration process.

Cons

Pros

Integration with our existing product was very complicated without internal engineering and developer help, that would be lengthy and time-consuming and push our project out by weeks, maybe months. With the Help Desk team, we were able to accomplish this in under a week!

Cons

The time-zones that we all work in collectively made it almost impossible that there weren't breaks in the customer experience, but Help Desk team was very supportive in asking when we would like to start migration processes and was very responsive during the last phase of the project with timeline updates and check-ins.

I liked that it was so simple and easy to migrate. Also, the customer service team is amazing it helped us make the first migration smoothly.

Cons

I would have loved for more tools and services to be available. But hey, it's very good with what it already has.

We used Help Desk Migration to move from the Zoho Desk Support Platform over to the Zendesk Support Platform as we wanted to restart with a fresh interface and something that was more customizable and programmable. Help Desk Migration helped with getting our Data over so we didn't lose any tickets or have to recreate any user accounts at all.

Pros

The software was easy to use and we were able to migrate all our data in less than 4 hours which was really good assuming we had over 5,000 records of tickets, companies, organizations, etc. They have a wide range of platforms that they support which is really good. The customer support service at Help Desk Migration was really useful and provided a Delta migration for a few stray tickets free of charge, which was really helpful to conclude our Data Migration.

Cons

I didn't have complete control over my migration, I can see why however it just meant that a few things were more confusing, it would be good If I could set defaults for assignee's automatically, but it all worked out in the end.

Pros

I recently was faced with the challenge of migrating from Freshdesk to Zendesk. We had around 1500 tickets and 600 contacts. After searching around for services to assist in the move I found Help Desk Migration. Their prices were super competitive, well under the other options on the market, and when I reached out to ask more, they were super helpful and quick to respond with any and all information I required.

I was especially concerned about security, HDM described their approach and I was impressed with how well thought out their process was and how respectful they were of their customer's data.

They even reminded me as soon as the migration was complete to change passwords and ensure our instance was secure. All the way through they were helpful and followed up to ensure everything was as we needed and expected. I have no hesitation in recommending HDM if you need to do a migration. Absolutely great in every respect.

We were in a bit of a tight spot. The provider of our Knowledge base and Help Desk software decided to leave the market. We needed a solution that would migrate our articles accurately and in a timely fashion. This supplier provides excellent customer support and their pricing was modest.

Pros

This software provided us with an accurate migration of our knowledge base articles in a timely fashion at a time when we did not think a solution to our very specific problem would be available. So we were very pleased to find this service.

Cons

We did not find any cons with this product.

I cannot say enough good things about the people at Help Desk Migration. They are extremely helpful, amazingly responsive, answered all of my questions, and kept me updated while the data migration was occurring. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] were all fantastic to work with.

The software itself is very easy to use and you can do trial runs to make sure that all of the information will transfer. In my first trial run I noticed one of our custom fields was not in the pick list, I submitted a support ticket about it, and very quickly they got the custom field added to the pick list. The full data migration occurred without a hitch.

Pros

The answer to the question "What did I like most about this software?". Everything!!

Pros

Totally automated. Easy tools for field mappings. Retained all ticket histories

Cons

It would have been nice it knowledge base article links and embedded videos could have been updated a part of the migration process.

Our company was introduced to the Help Desk Migration team for a migration from Desk to Freshdesk.
We had a very large database to migrate over:

Contacts - 617 519
Organizations - 70 946
Tickets - 760 409 with a minimum of 10 notes in every ticket making a total of 9 Million records to migrate!

We had a slight hiccup with the migration however; their technical support team resolved the matter and continued with the migration with no further issues. The team I worked with was fantastic, quick to respond to any questions I had, keeping me up to date and ensuring I knew I could reach out to them with any questions or concerns.

Pros

Ease of use and the exceptional support.

Cons

I had no issues with the migration software.

The support is the key - migration experiences can be harrowing, especially those that are opaque and use API. The live chat support kept us up to date at all times and helped to move through the two errors we had. The migration was completed overnight and we're up and running on our help desk with our customer history and notes. A+ experience.

Pros

Demo migration was key to proof of concept and setting team's expectations. Great, timely, communicative support. Good value. No brainer for us.

Cons

The auto migration errored out a couple of times. The engineers were on it within minutes and the migration started again.

Saved a ton of time, at a fraction of the cost

Pros

It migrated most of the important data we needed, from Intercom to Zendesk, saving us a tremendous amount of time, and the cost was a fraction of what we had been quoted by other similar services.

Cons

There was a hiccup with making a payment, and a "failure" the first time we tried with migration of our conversations. But they got the issue resolved before our fairly tight "go-live" window was over.

Amazing Service and Great Solution

Pros

An uncomplicated product and amazing service. We were looking for a tool to assist with the switch of our ticketing system and help center. Individual solutions cost several thousands of euros. This solution was cost-efficient, fast and the service provided was excellent! A company to look out for, because this is how customer service is done!

Cons

Wonderful! They are FAST on their support and very easy to work with. Literally zero waiting during their business hours. I worked with 3 representatives, and they were all very knowledgeable.

Pros

Being able to reference our old Zendesk tickets in Freshservice was a must. This got the job done! The price was far less than what Freshservice wanted to charge. They did a delta import at the end as well.

I did not find any cons to their product.

Great experience. Couldn't recommend them enough. We ended up opting for migrating only the customers and organizations and it came through smoothly. I'm glad we had this option and it has saved us A LOT of time and work.

Super easy to use. Customer service was great and worked to get me the best solution for my needs

Cons

Full migration was more expensive than I expected, so we opted out, but we also chose to start with a cleaner slate.

This is the best migration service out there.
HMD is very service minded, they kept in contact during the entire migration to make sure everything was 100% .

Cons

This was great, we were worried that because it happened so quickly and easily that information would be lost in the migration. We have everything and original messages maintained their time stamp information. Very efficient and effective.

Pros

Everything was automated and we were able to keep time stamps from our original messages.

Not sure if there is anything yet but we will keep you posted if something comes up.

Support was the most helpful of any that I've ever seen. Migration was easy and speedy.

Cons

Not everything I wanted could be brought over in the migration, or if more could, it would cost an additional fee (although the extra fee + original fee is less than other companies).

Pros

I didn't know what to expect from some random thing I found on the Jira marketplace, and I was BLOWN AWAY. The team was incredibly responsive, and the tech was solid. The price was perfectly reasonable to save me time dealing with a one-time migration, and I'd definitely use them again

It worked and the reporting was enough to give me confidence that my records had migrated successfully.

Cons

I can not say there are any particularly negative aspects - I guess at a push, I'd like even more granular reporting to increase my confidence level that the migration had included all records.

It integrates with everything

Pros

All process is online, easy, with documentation and support via chat and phone. Support agents are very friendly and effective. The Delta migration service to sync the last records entered during the migration process was very helpful as well.
