I love the ability to separate clients, projects, and tasks separately. It is so simple to track multiple types of work and payrates within the same client or project, and the reporting makes it incredibly easy to create invoices at the end of the month.

I wish it integrated with my invoice software so I could generate invoices directly from a report. This would save me hours and hours of time every month.

Desktop app is solid for tracking time, and the Pomodoro timer is a nice touch, but it could be more intuitive with adding breaks.

Filtering and counting entries aren’t as flexible as I’d like, so I have to use a third-party tool (Clockify-CLI) to track time based on entry names. The calendar feels a bit clunky—features like shift-selecting multiple entries would make it way more efficient. Also, having no default project option on the web app is a small but persistent hassle.

I really appreciate how easy it is to add new clients and set up projects with tasks in Clockify. The process is smooth and intuitive, which saves a lot of time when managing multiple projects with multiple clients. Additionally, the wide range of integration options is fantastic, allowing seamless connections with other tools I use, making workflow automation and project management even more efficient.

The integrations could be more robust and comprehensive. For example, the integration with Jira (an Atlassian product) doesn't fully align with its hierarchy, making it difficult to effectively track time directly from the Jira environment.

What I love about Clockify is the ease of tracking time, and how you can see the full active details of how long you've been working down to the second. Other platforms I've used that worked similarly to Clockify like Harvest, do not have that feature. I also love that for each project, you can choose different colors. This really helped me when tracking time for individual clients.

There were some glitches in the time clock, and an inaccurate time was recorded. But other than that, I have not had substantial issues with Clockify.

What I like most about Clockify is that the free version is a fully functional product, with no real limitations and an impressive array of features. The paid version goes beyond and provides a huge set of additional capabilities, but you will never be forced to switch to it.

To be frank, it is hard for me to find a serious shortcoming with this product. Maybe the only real drawback is that all my data are on the Clockify server and - although I can export it onto my PC whenever I need - I cannot choose to have everything sitting on my local storage. On the other hand, this means that I can access my billing platform from any web browser or web-connected phone, which is great.

Clockify has a manual entry option to add the times worked when you forgot to start the timer. Time fields can also be edited in case you accidentally go over your break hours. I love how the user interface is intuitive, making it easy to track time across different projects. The reporting features are also fantastic, as they provide clear insights into productivity and help with invoicing.

The drop-down menu for selecting 'manual entry, timer mode, or break' can be a bit cumbersome. It would be nice to have checkboxes or radio buttons instead, as that would make it quicker and more intuitive to switch between modes. This change could streamline the user experience and save time when tracking hours.

Efficiency first, simplicity in second position and definitely convenience to complete the whole picture!

I have tried many other solutions before Clockify... There is litterally nothing I really find annoying with this solution. It is the best to me. Maybe if I had another business need, I would find some flaws but not today.

I appreciate that there's a free option, and for businesses that need less capabilities than a larger companies and need to save money when small, this is a helpful way to get started without incurring another cost.

There are certain elements of the free version, like project templates, that seem like they could be included - it's not that hard to create the phases each time, it's just annoying and seems like a feature that could be included to help really small businesses like mine get ahead, which would entice me to use the paid product if I eventually grow and hire people. Similarly, having to manually mark time entries as billable if you forget to set it up right away seems like an odd speedbump in the free version that could be changed.

What I like most about using Clockify is how easy and intuitive it is. The user interface makes time tracking a breeze, and the detailed reporting tools give me clear insights into how I’m spending my time. I also love that the free plan offers unlimited users and projects, which is perfect for my team. Plus, the ability to track billable hours and integrate with other tools like Trello really helps streamline my workflow. It’s simple but powerful, which makes a huge difference in managing productivity.

What I like least about Clockify is that some of the more advanced features, like invoicing and deeper analytics, are only available in the paid plans, which can be limiting. The mobile app can also be a bit sluggish at times, and it doesn’t always offer the full functionality I need when I’m on the go.

Ease of use. Once set up I can quickly switch from one client to another with no more than one press.

The kiosk requires login in each day for each user. I cannot have each worker have a kiosk copy so they can clock in as the move from job to job without my logging in or giving them my account password or upgrading subscription(recent change). Where the security in that? The kiosk also displays in a very tiny font for no reason making it unreadable without a magnifying glass. Workers find it easier to just send me their times, which defeats the reason for having the app.

The mobile app occasionally had syncing issues, which was frustrating when tracking time on-the-go. Additionally, the free version's limited features sometimes felt restrictive for more complex project management needs.

Overall, Clockify is good, but if I had to point out something I didn't like, it would be the issue I had connecting my time to the project I was working on. It seemed to be a bug on Clockify's end, and it caused some confusion for my employer after we'd been using it smoothly for about a month. While it didn’t happen often, this glitch was inconvenient and something that could be improved.

While Clockify is a fantastic tool, I would love to see more advanced reporting features or customization options for specific industry needs. However, this is a minor consideration, given the overall effectiveness of the platform.

It's a well-organized tool, there's a macOS app that works simply and can be started with shortcuts, and you can share links with clients.

There are recurring items that I would like to have automatically added for certain clients, but that option doesn't exist.

What I liked least about Clockify is that the reporting features, while useful, can feel a bit limited when you need more detailed or custom reports. Sometimes, I find myself wanting more flexibility in how I filter or organize data, but it’s only available with the paid plans. Also, it can be a bit slow to load at times, especially when you have a lot of data logged. But overall, these are minor things compared to the overall benefits.

Ease of use and straight forward interface. Very easy to add information and edit entered fields. Many different kinds of reports for various needs.

Sometimes the "time-out" function does not automatically stop my time if I am inactive, even if the setting is set up. Often get logged out of the desktop tool and have to re login thru the web site.

It's ability to acurately track my daily activity across multiple jobs. I'm an architect working in a small team with many projects and as such, I need to jump between tasks to address things as they come in. The reporting and ability to accurately bill clients is our biggest reason for using Clockify.

I have been unable to get on with the mobile and desktop apps. My main interface is through the web tracker. The interface on mobile is clunky and as we require projects to be assigned (to log time) it can cause bad habits when on mobile.
