Amazing, as a small not for profit, this reasonably priced service saved us from having to piggy back on another company's server to share files between our employees (and we couldn't access those files outside of the office either).
Pros
Easily manage all my files remotely with no downtime and no fear of losing files. The streaming function saves a lot of my hard drive space too, and works seamlessly.
Cons
File ownership should be easier to transfer between users. Currently the new owner has to download and reupload the file to become the owner of it.

As a new cloud user, coming from on-premise (private) cloud, really good initial experience. I deployed my applications and managed to get a pipeline working in a single day - it's been really easy to get to grips with things. Really recommend anyone considering public cloud to give it a try.
Pros
As a new user to GC (Google Cloud) it's been really easy to get to grips with public cloud life, really good scalability and an easy to use UI - everything just makes sense and I never had to search around for features, etc. which was important. Very simple.
Cons
Did feel like after the free trial period it might be out of budget, great features but if it ease as feature rich and easy to use as this it might be worth it.

The ease of use of this platform makes it the best choice for me. It supports many data formats. For upgrades it does not require downtime. Customer support is quite good.
Pros
It stands out for its ease of use, with intuitive configuration and management. Really easy to use. Customer service is fast and efficient. I use it on a daily basis for office and personal work. The feature set is extensive and comprises much more than a database, with seamless integration into existing workflows. Its simplicity ensures smooth business continuity. Google Backup & DR is a very good decision and investment. Set it and forget it, knowing that your data is safe.
Cons
Limited free storage can be quickly depleted with large photos and files, forcing you to pay for more storage. I still find it invaluable.

Google Cloud offering portfolio and services

Based on my experience with Google Cloud, I have had the opportunity to see how it has evolved over the last 7 years. Without a doubt I can say that Google Cloud offers a complete portfolio for computing, networking, data, data streaming, data ingestion, container-based applications, following all cloud models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). I believe that Google Cloud's main strength today lies in its offering of data management, AI, BigData, Business Intelligence and Infrastructure for database services.
Pros
Google is one of the top 5 cloud providers. In terms of network it has the largest stretch of undersea cables in the world, meaning its cloud services can be offered literately everywhere. The main strength in term of cloud services is the data portfolio, which makes companies of all sizes (startup, small, mid and large) transition into a data-driven model easily and following known best practices.
Cons
The main disadvantage of Google Cloud is the native tools and services for DevOps capabilities, which do not really offer a mature environment for developing continuous integration and continuous delivery strategies. However, Google Cloud integrates with open source tools, such as Terraform, Github Actions, among many other community tools and services. In fact, almost all existing DevOps-oriented tools and services are compatible with Google Cloud.

Overall my experience with Google Cloud has been a walk in the park. I enjoy having all Google products but Google Cloud has a place in my heart for its intgenuity. I can allows depends of its services meet all my baisc and intermediate needs.
Pros
It is convenient to have my files saved up in one place and I love the reliability of being able to save everything I need efficiently. Google cloud has that impact on its customer where reliability meets satisfaction.
Cons
There is really not much to say here is it? Google cloud makes up for its small defects where it falls to where it rises to meet customer needs. I am heavy depended on Google cloud becuase having a cloud storage is a necessity overall. So what I like least about being a Google cloud customer is why haven't thought of going premium earlier.

Based on my experience as a Google Cloud user, it has been very satisfactory, learning more every day and making my work much more efficient thanks to its robust and scalable infrastructure allowing companies to be at the forefront of technology.
Pros
Google Cloud Platform offers a wide range of benefits that make it an attractive option for businesses of all sizes looking for a secure, scalable, innovative and competitively priced cloud platform. Another key aspect is the commitment to operate sustainably and reduce its environmental impact.
Cons
It is somewhat complex for inexperienced users, as it has a wide range of services and configuration options, costs can increase rapidly if high performance services are used or large amounts of resources are consumed, and companies become dependent on Google's infrastructure and services

I love using Google Cloud and rely on it frequently. I recommend it to friends and colleagues. As many companies now use Google Cloud, it is much easier for me as a freelancer to access and share documents smoothly.
Pros
Google Cloud is user-friendly, reliable, and highly scalable. It offers a seamless experience, especially for businesses needing a flexible cloud environment. I love its intuitive interface and robust tools. Most of my clients use it too.
Cons
Although I use free versions, or those included with my Gmail accounts, or provided by my clients, I imagine Google Cloud can be pricey, especially for smaller businesses. Accessing specific drives can be tricky, with challenges in navigating folders and locating shared files. Managing permission rights can also be confusing, making it hard to control who can view or edit certain documents.

As a business owner, I've been using Google Cloud for a while now, and it has been a game-changer for our operations. The scalability and reliability of its services have allowed us to grow without worrying about infrastructure, and the integrated collaboration tools have made teamwork seamless. I highly recommend it to any business looking for a powerful, flexible, and secure cloud platform to support their growth.
Pros
Google Cloud offers impressive advantages, including unparalleled scalability and performance, cost-efficiency, robust security measures, cutting-edge AI and machine learning capabilities, a globally distributed infrastructure, and seamlessly integrated collaboration tools.
Cons
A common challenge with Google Cloud is its complex pricing, making it hard for businesses to predict costs, especially if they're new to cloud services. To manage this, tools like the Google Cloud Pricing Calculator and budget alerts can help keep expenses under control. Working with Google Cloud experts can also make choosing the right services easier and get the most value for your investment.

Users working within the Google ecosystem (Gmail, Google Workspace, etc.) often appreciate how seamlessly Google Cloud integrates with these services. This can make it easier for businesses already using Google products to adopt cloud solutions without much friction.
Pros
Google Cloud provides strong security features, including encryption, identity management, and threat detection. Its security model is built around the same infrastructure that powers Google’s own services.
Cons
Google Cloud’s pricing can be difficult to navigate, especially for new users. While it offers competitive pricing, understanding the fine details of cost calculation for different services can be overwhelming. Without careful monitoring, costs can unexpectedly increase.
