It has been a game-changer in the era of digitization, with digital signage gaining grounds globally and in the corporate world. It has helped organizations reduce efforts and time, thus improving efficiency.

Pros

It is a great tool, with its user interface being very interactive. It has some good features like drag and drop features, customizable templates, and has a very fast response time with no lags as such. It has made digital signage quite simple and quick, with even beginners finding it easy to understand its functioning.

Cons

The customer support need to be quick and effective. Also, I would appreciate better integrations with other tools. Otherwise, it is a good software.

Pros

Yodeck is way ahead of its time and very underrated in terms of its package and offerings. It allows your imagination to grow with the many possibilities with its functionality and publication system. The software is reliable easy to understand and comes at a fair price for commercial uses or personal. Multi screen PIP (picture in picture) is what i liked the most. Controlling the screen is what we want and Yodeck delivers just that brilliantly.

Cons

Hard to say. Maybe the pricing can be reviewed as we are living in a very competitive age with very advance tech out the. For example there is hologram tech that has been on the market of digital signage for quiet some time.

Very good overall experience. I have been using Yodeck and trying to make my ads business grow for a couple of years, and Yodeck has been key. I like the interface, the easy features and support has been great. Sometimes support won't answer, and there are some technical things that have a steep learning curve.

Pros

The thing I like the most of Yodeck is how easy it is to use and to try it out with no hidden payments or requirements.

Cons

A con I found, is that there are several features that are not available on other OS that the software supports.

Yodeck offers a great value for the features we actually need, without unnecessary expenses. The tool also meets our requirements for security and compliance, ensuring our content is protected. Yodeck works seamlessly on Raspberry Pi, allowing us to leverage existing hardware.

Cons

Occasionally, there can be delays of up to 10 minutes for content changes to take effect, which can be frustrating when we need real-time updates.

Pros

Transparent interface. Easily customized display. Wide range of available widgets (apps). Customize different slideshows to display on particular days / times. Control the times when the display is active remotely.

Cons

Initially getting started has a somewhat steep learning curve as there are a lot of pieces to keep track of.

Since we've inducted Yodeck as the Digital Signage solution for our organization, it has been so easy to manage the content on our digital screens. The interface is very user friendly and there are plenty of Apps to which one can integrate and project powerful Signage for customers and their staff. The one big thing about Yodeck is that its got tons of feature to satisfy everyone's need.

Cons

Reasonably positive. I appreciate the development team jumping in to fix the bug. Communication in these situations could be a little better.

Pros

Easy to create designs. I love the ability to add video to static images for a more compelling image. The system is very flexible for our need as a school information board.

Cons

There are some bugs that cause the system to fail. It used to be after a few minutes, but the development team worked on it and now it runs at least 3 hours before stopping.

We have found that Yodeck is easy to use and the creative services team is able to manage the content calendar on their own without intervention from IT. The interface is responsive and I like that the raspberry pi caches the content in the event of a network outage.

Pros

IT is super easy to use and the maintenance effort is minimal.

Cons

The integrations were not so strong in the beginning of our use, but these have improved quite a bit in the last 3 years.

The onboarding was simple. A rep walked us through the process. The hardware came ready to use. The only thing left for the end user is to manage content. We load our announcement slides and set the date each one will expire, assign the slides to the desired monitors, and let Yodeck do all the work. We even use a severe weather alert feed because our area has experienced several catastrophic weather events.

Pros

Yodeck does everything we need (and more) than a service we had before for price that is affordable for any size organization. The service expands as your organization expands its implementation. We had another very similar service that increased their fee to $2500/year for two unique digital sign outputs. We have expanded the number of digital signs for a fraction of the cost.

Cons

In our church, we use the live video feed capability and there is a 1-2 second delay. In many situations the delay would be imperceivable but since our worship center and our atrium (where we use the live video fee) are adjacent, the delay is noticeable. We can live with it, but I wish there was less delay. This probably will not be an issue for most users who do not need to send a live video/audio signal through Yodeck from a production control room.

Yodeck enabled me to accomplish two wildly important goals for my organization. Yodeck enables me to project our culture to a broad audience in our own voice. So we improved the quality of our production over what we used before. (an outsourced product.) Secondarily, we saved a pile of money because Yodeck is such an affordable solution compared to outsourced digital signage competitors.

Pros

Yodeck is an essential tool projecting our healthcare organization's cutlure to the audience that matter the most- caregivers. Yodeck is the answer to two important questions: "How do we project our culture to persons who visit our care center?" and "how do we project Palm Garden culture to our caregivers?" I'm able to project Palm Garden Mission, Vision and Values in our own cultural voice and "premier provider" 5-Star brand.

Cons

There was a learning curve because we switched from an outsourced provider for digital prodction to internal production of content. Yodeck YouTube videos helpedme a lot!

Great customer service and support from the initital showcase, all the way through the purchase process, and beyond. The few times I've had to ask a question to customer support, they have been quick to reply.

Pros

Yodeck supports an amazing amount of media content and integrates with a large number of popular applications. With their highest tiered package, it offers easy organization of displays across multiple buildings, or even multiple locations within the same building. User management is relatively simple and right management and assignments are easy to delegate.

Cons

We were most looking forward to integration with Canva, and although it is supported in Yodeck, not all features are yet available - namely the ability to have a Canva slideshow automatically play on your displays. Yodeck will only show one slide. I have been told by Yodeck that they are working on integrating that feature.

I work in IT, and using Yodeck was a very simple and easy learning process. I found it very well designed and programmed, providing immediate results once content was pre-scheduled and pushed to screens.

Pros

The ability to schedule diverse content type for students, during classroom times, at my former high school.

Having the option to push content at prescheduled times, and being able to select and define screen location and section size, they are all really convenient features from Yodeck.

Cons

I sort of wish the cost would be a bit more affordable for Education institutions. I am using Yodeck on my former High School, and they have limited funds to cover more than a single screen at the moment. They will be going Premium by end of year.

We've only been with Yodeck for a few months but overall they have been great! They offer everything that we wanted plus more. Although their customer service is in a different time zone then us, they have still been able to help us when needed.

Pros

Ease of use, being able to use different content on different players, being able to schedule content, good customer support, easy to manage

Customer support is in a different time zone then us, certain app layouts could use an update such as weather and time clock

Spectrio had a lot of areas where they could not offer what we needed and their players/software was constantly failing. We eventually got frustrated and started looking for someone new. I used the free trial of Yodeck for a while before deciding to go with them as our new vendor.

We need to inform our members of large amounts of information (including events, deadlines, dates, activities, seasonal vision casting, etc.) across our campus AND be able to present that information in different ways. Yodeck allows us to create whatever layout configurations we need specific for each part of our organization.

Pros

Yodeck is the most flexible digital signage solution ever. With their addition of the web based players, literally any screen can become a digital sign (for a price). I also like that I can build my own rpi and bring it into the ecosystem fairly easily. The customization for playlists, layouts, schedules, etc., is just ridiculous. There are so many options to literally have whatever you want.

Cons

Sometimes the dashboard UI is a little sluggish, clunky. For example, sometimes with saving certain videos it seems like the encoding process doesn't start. I have to delete it and reupload. A minor annoyance for sure. Also, pricing tier is fine, but I wish there were more bundling options (more displays at better discounts), but I guess I am cheap.

I love the ease of access, ability to add multiple media types, customization within the program, and this has allowed our network of schools to streamline how we populate digital signage and still allows us to use it on the various monitors/tvs we have between campuses.

Cons

I would like the ability to add a custom font. We are big on branding and have specific font we use. I was able to locate one that is similar, however, when it is bolded you can spot the difference.

When I started working with yodeck portal I noticed a lot of other functionalities which I could use. Currently its main signage solution which could be used on other building in UK.

Pros

In yodeck I mostly like clear and easy to use UI which could be used by people without technical skills. Most people who have experience with Microsoft PowerPoint would like creator delivered by yodeck to prepare content on digital signage.

Cons

When I manage a large amount of content, I can't quickly identify which layouts are currently in use on some of playlists or monitors.

Great program, it gets the job done! One of the standout features for me is the flexibility it offers. Whether it's scheduling content, managing multiple screens, or creating engaging playlists, Yodeck handles it all with ease. The cloud-based system means I can access and update our displays from anywhere, which is perfect for our on-the-go team.

Overall, I think the onboarding process is top notch and I really doubt there's any other company who is willing to spend one-on-one time getting each customer set up the way YoDeck does, especially for the price! It's only a few dollars per month per screen, they included the hardware, and they provided personalized setup and support. There's really nothing to complain about! We have only had one potential point of confusion, and the company listened to our concern and took it seriously. We have no doubt that YoDeck is looking into it and will address things appropriately as needed. There are lots of plug-ins to make the signage work with various software, they have a great selection of templates and animations, and there are so many ways to turn tvs/screens/monitors into displays through hardware options or YoDeck apps in various app stores. We'd highly recommend trying YoDeck first!

Pros

The whole experience of getting set up is as easy as it can be! Our company chose an annual plan, which included free hardware for running our digital signage. It arrived with all of the software pre-installed and configured, so we only had to plug it into the tv and turn it on! It even had our network credentials already set up and ready to go. Once it arrived, their support team scheduled a personalized one-on-one conference call with us to walk us through how to use their web software for running the signage and sent us helpful links and contact info for future inquiries. I feel like they really went above and beyond!

Cons

I mostly don't have anything I don't like. The only small feedback that I gave YoDeck is that there seems to be confusion with date and time input when it comes to scheduling content times. I might want content to display from Jan 1 to Dec 31 between 9am and 5pm, but some screens and support reps interpret that as running non-stop from Jan 1 at 9am until Dec 31 at 5pm, while other understand that we mean daily from Jan 1 until Dec 31 with content starting each day at 9am and ending at 5pm. We did already relay this concern/potential confusion to YoDeck and they said they are taking a look at it to ensure that everything works as intended, and it may possibly have just been confusion or miscommunication on the part of tech support about how the related software screens work.
