It's been around for a long time and works across a range of devices and scenarios, even to POTS.

The interface (and the app) is getting heavier. It is not trivial to keep it running unless we use it all the time.

It's simple and easy to use. The interface is much like older chats like AOL, etc.

It doesn't do screen share very well and the call quality is usually subpar compared to newer offerings such as Teams and Zoom.

To me it’s more reliable than the other software that I used to use.

Actually, there isn’t anything that I found that would make me dislike it.

Skype sometimes has audio issues but that could be caused from the user instead of Skype

I love being able to video call people as well as message them. Being able to do both in one application is great.

One thing that was a bit frustrating wss that my call quality usually wasn't the best. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't as good as i thought it could be.

it's an app I've been using for many years, I use the computer version more, but on mobile it's also very helpful, it's a reliable service and its tools are easy to understand, I like the status options, especially the invisible one, which allows us privacy on certain occasions.

Because it is a service that is often used free of charge, there can be many problems with the connection.

I love many things about skype! One of the things I like most about Skype is the ability to connect with friends and family from anywhere in the world. It allows me to face-to-face conversations, even when I cant be physically together. Skype also offers a wide range of futures like screen sharing, file sharing, and group calls, which make it a versatile and convenient communication tool.

I can't speak for everyone, but I find the user interface of Skype to be a bit overwhelming at times. especially for new users.

Everyone knows how to use it especially in markets where it is still a dominant voip tool.

I am glad Microsoft is still keeping at afloat as many small businesses such as dealerships use it.

Some EU markets are still active on Skype and it helps to stay connected to customers this way.

With years it became worse and much more integrated into other Microsoft tools.
Having ability to buy minutes and call locally is great, but the quality is not always there.

You can chat with whole bank employee and when its needed you can share your screen and give control

In group messaging, some people may not be able to see what is written if they do not click on the pop-up notification on the right. I hate this feature

The only thing i like about this program is that its blue.

My meetings are always either dropped, froze, or never connect. I've been using a different program for the past couple of years since covid and its a lot better.

It is very affordable.
I can effectively reach out to any colleagues at any time since this software offers instant chatting and therefore I can get reports efficiently. When need for a meeting arises whether a team meeting or individuals, I can efficiently hold them over this affordable software through video conferencing and online meetings features.

Skype has worked great for me and my organization and there no much to dislike about this software.

In its day Skype was fantastic, and we all used it.

Unfortunately Skype has been surpassed by other Apps that offer more features. It is clunky to use and is really just not competitive.

Back in the days Skype was the only video conference solution. In fact instead of saying let's video chat, I still say "let's skype!". Skype offers great video and audio quality and I like that you have a username you can share with people and add them to your contacts. In addition to this Skype offers great workplace solutions for larger teams that are sensitive about information security.

I have nothing bad to say about Skype, over the years it kept improving its quality and offers a great video conferencing platform

Skype keeps recorded calls for 30 days only this is the only con I felt.

It is very easy to share documents and the possibility of interacting both on the computer and on the cell phone. It is without a doubt very effective. The features are amazing. It's very simple to make a video call and make or join a meeting remotely.

The New options of video chat software are not yet implemented in Skipe
