It has been great so far. It's working well for us. We like that it's easy to setup & intuitive. Customer/ Tech support is always fantastic whenever we need help.

Pros

We are using a few of their products. They work well, easy to use, intuitive. Their support team is knowledgeable & easy to work with.

- Easy to setup.
- Reasonable pricing.
- We like the agentless monitoring.
- Support team helped us during/ before/ after implementation.

Cons

- Vmware physical CPUs cannot be monitored. There are 24 virtual CPUs & once the physical CPU goes over the threshold, there are too many alerts.
- URL monitoring - kerberos is not supported.
- Downtime alerts - OP manager & App manager have separate downtime scheduler. One overall downtime schedule would be convenient.

Overall, OpManager provides a robust and reliable solution for network monitoring with real-time alerts and a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to navigate, even for non-technical users. The customizable alerts and reports allow for more tailored network management, while the automation features save time by handling routine tasks. However, integrating OpManager with third-party solutions can be a bit challenging and may require additional configuration and support. Despite this, OpManager performs well, especially within the ManageEngine ecosystem, offering efficient tools for proactive network management.

Pros

OpManager provides real-time monitoring of network devices like routers, switches, servers, and virtual machines, and sends instant alerts if any issues arise.

The dashboard is simple and user-friendly, making it easy for non-technical users to quickly access important performance data.

Users can set custom thresholds for alerts and receive notifications based on specific needs. OpManager also offers customizable reports for better network management and performance analysis.

Routine tasks like troubleshooting and network management are automated in OpManager, saving time and reducing manual work.

Cons

While OpManager works well with other ManageEngine tools, connecting it to third-party solutions can be more difficult and may need extra setup and technical support

We started out using OpUtils for the IPAM solution. As we wanted a more feature rich application that can support more devices, more reporting, and a better network overview, we opted for OpManager. The Purchase and implementation of this product was easy and quick. We use multiple ManageEngine products and have always found them easy to setup, use, integrate with each other, and their support is solid.

Pros

The setup of this product is easy and straight forward. It has a good management interface, easy to add devices and has a great IPAM interface.

Cons

The biggest issue I have with this software is by default it includes menu options for features that aren't included but additional purchases after the fact. Some of these cannot be disabled and it's annoying. It also has alerts it pushes daily, for me the ipv6 alerts are driving me mad. We don't use this, and I can't turn this alert off, so I see it every time I login.

This application makes monitoring many infrastructure simple to the user-friendly dashboard, If you want to understand your IT infrastructure more clearly, then take a look at the ManageEngine OpManager

Pros

- As you’ve seen, this application has the ability to greatly simplify the way most businesses manage IT. And, the tools deliver value to operations experts, service managers, IT planners and the executive. The business-centric dashboard will deliver value to managers who want assurance that critical business functions are online.

- The focus on business-context also means that staff can more easily understand the impact of outages, enabling them to prioritize their work on mission-critical systems, and simplify the IT workflow.

Cons
