Excellent experience overall. Besides some configuration issue, the program works very well and it brings several useful features.
Pros
The interface. Its easy to user, clear and you have all important info at glance. I like the layout and the button styles as well.
Cons
It hangs. Now less than before but in the last years Outlook was having troubles in handling large quantity of data. With the cloud service its much better (no more psts) but now it hangs when facing poor network performances.

Why Microsoft Outlook works perfectly for me.

Overall, I would say Microsoft Outlook is a very good software. Its email system is great, especially with the ability to categorize emails and stay organized. The group boxes feature is also fantastic, and I haven’t seen this feature in other email platforms.
Pros
What I love most about Microsoft Outlook is its calendar and scheduling features. It often sends reminders for my coaching sessions with my manager, and since most of my meetings are on Teams, I love how well it syncs with Microsoft Teams. My manager can easily find the best meeting time based on my availability and other agents' schedules.
I use Outlook for all my work emails, and I feel very comfortable doing so. It organizes important emails well, and the offline feature is a game-changer. All the features work seamlessly without needing an internet connection, so I can still work offline without any hassle if the internet goes out. It also integrates perfectly with other Microsoft apps like Excel, Teams, OneDrive, and more.
Cons
The Microsoft Outlook mobile app could use some improvement. For example, customizing folders and creating new ones is much easier on the desktop, and certain actions, like filtering emails, can only be done on the desktop. When I first started using Outlook, everything felt a bit weird, but after getting the hang of it, I now flow seamlessly with it.

Outlook's New Version: Faster but Missing Key Features

My overall experience with Microsoft Outlook has been a rocky one. The more feature-packed old version is pretty much useless, as it frequently stops responding, making you have no choice, but to upgrade to the new version, which is missing a lot of key features. However, Outlook is still great with certain things, like reminders, calendar, scheduling, seamless Microsoft 365 integration, among many other things. Overall a 3/5.
Pros
What I like the most about Microsoft Outlook is that it seamlessly integrates with Microsoft 365, the calendar and scheduling features are great, and the search functionality is also great.
Cons
The new version of Microsoft Outlook is missing lots of features. The old version of Microsoft Outlook is pretty much useless because it is extremely slow to open stuff, and will frequently stop responding, forcing you to upgrade to the new version.

Outlook has been great to use. Every company I have worked with uses Outlook and for good reason. It has yet to be a hassle to use and has always been reliable for the busy day-to-day actions in my job.
Pros
It is user friendly and allows many options to keep all emails organized. Including an easy to read and use calendar to balance a busy workload.
Cons

Overall I enjoy it. There are a few things that I do not like personally but may uplift others in a work life balance.
Pros
I appreciate how I can see more information about the person I am emailing as well as my events being connected. Being able to schedule meetings is a breeze as I am always aware while looking through my email.
Cons
I do not like the task section as it feels overwhelming to add on along with all my emails and meetings.

Overall, I find Outlook to be a very effective tool for my workflow. Its features, such as robust foldering, rule-based organization, and strong spam/phishing protection, significantly enhance my productivity. As a System Engineer, security is paramount, and Outlook provides me with peace of mind knowing my account is well-protected.
Pros
As part of my company's Microsoft 365 suite, Outlook plays a crucial role in my daily workflow. Given my responsibility for managing a high volume of tickets (often exceeding 100 per day), its robust features are invaluable. I particularly appreciate its powerful rule-based system for automated ticket sorting and filtering. This, combined with the ability to effectively organize and attach files within emails, allows me to maintain a highly organized and efficient inbox. This level of organization is essential for effectively tracking and following up on numerous tickets, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction
Cons
While Outlook offers a comprehensive suite of features, one of its drawbacks can be its complexity. The sheer number of options and settings can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for users with less technical expertise. This complexity can occasionally hinder productivity as users navigate the interface and configure settings to their preferences.

Overall, I love using Outlook everyday, especially at work. I am able to see the general schedules of my team members. I can email them back and forth very easily. It's a great program to collaborate with others.
Pros
I love how organized everything is on this product. I use it everyday at work to monitor my emails, check my calendar for events in each weekday, communicate with my team members, etc. I find it very convenient that both the email and calendar are in the same program.
Cons
I don't like that many times, Outlook became slow due to many emails open at once. However, I do not mind this issue since I only have a few emails open at a time.

Truly, I never had a bad experience using Outlook in 11+ years.
Pros
I have been using Microsoft Outlook as my primary email, calendar, and contacts program since 2013 and I would rather write letters and mark up my wall calendar than use any other program. The interface is smooth, the functionality is easy to understand, and teaching employees to use the program has always been agreeable. The "Tell me what you want to do" feature is especially handy and I have never had a task it couldn't walk me through. It's Alex and Siri before there was Alexa and Siri.
Cons
The only thing I honestly don't care for is the latest version, I am still using the prior version. The latest rollout's interface is clunky, hopefully something Microsoft will iron out before the version I'm on sunsets.

I use Outlook for my work email and it allows me to manage my email in an easy and fast way. Outlook runs well and rarely hangs. It has a lot of features (I use a few, the search, the rules, the calendar and just an addon) and if a need support I easily find my answer on internet (of course you can contact Microsoft Support).
Indeed one of the best Microsoft Program.
Pros
I think Microsoft Outlook is the best email client available, i like the interface and how menu and features are organized.
Managing your enails and email accounts is easy, you can add a new account just following the instructions (in the file section or under the windows control panel) and manage you emails folders and e g. set some inbox rules.
Also you can add event on your calendar and ask Outlook to alert you before they will take place.
You can create PST archives and attach them to your email account.
There are many addons from third party programs that you can integrate with Outlook, this is a really useful feature.
Outlook works well and you will easily find documentation on internet in case of need.
Of course Outlook is not free, but it is worth the price (there are several plans).
Cons
The search bar placed in the top of the the screen and the new visualition, I prefer the old one (but it seems you can change it in some way).
Mails are marked as read if you just click once on them by default. I dislike this option.
