Our use of Docusign during contract signing has greatly simplified the gathering of customer signatures. A number of critical steps, including document creation and identity verification, are taken care of automatically by the software.
Pros
With Docusign, my team is able to make use of Docusign Identify, which allows for the safe verification of customers prior to gathering their signatures on legal contracts. With Docusign Identify, we can verify signers' identities before they finalize contracts.
Cons
When it comes to electronically transmitting and signing legally binding papers, I find that Docusign really shines. To my complete delight, this program has exceeded my expectations for the results it has given my team.

Overall, Docusign has been quite useful for sending and receiving applicant information with the necessary signature.
Pros
He has really benefit our business by cutting the cost of paper media products. Less forms have to be written on.
Cons
Our company use DocuSign to create and send electronic applications for rentals. It is very inconvenient to have to send the application to two different individual emails in order to get to applicants information filled out and signed.

I find some parts of it to be easy and intuitive, and other areas leave me wanting. The autofill is effective and i like that it is easy enough to set up a document, however I wish text editing and signature setting were in one step, so that I could operate more smoothly within the program and wouldn't have to double back. Overall it's a fine program, but not my go to.
Pros
I like that this is a platform my clients are familar with and that it offers another avenue for me to expand my client base.
Cons
I find the softwear less forgiving that other e-sign products. Once i have sent something for signature I hevent found a way to modify the package and reshare without having to completely start over.

Overall DocuSign has made our lives easier, more secure and convenient. Docusign is beneficial for all parties involved
Pros
I like that you can drag & drop easily, everything about the process is simple. You can send contracts directly to emails in a few simple steps, Incredibly convenient for both the client and acct manager. I used to send via email and now the signing process is so much faster, and also makes them feel more secure.
Cons
I don't really feel there are many cons to docusign. I don't yet know how to implement a signature that can be on my end before sending, but can't say it's not an option... and complain about it because I may just not know how!

Docusign makes e-signing for my clients a lot easier than other platforms I have used in the past. It includes many other features most platforms don't and my clients are surprised how easy their signing process is.
Pros
Docusign has many features that are helpful and easy to use. What I like most about DocuSign is that you can go into a document after it's been sent for e-signing to make any changes and it will automatically re-send to the recipient once you've completed and saved your changes unlike other platforms where I've had to do the entire process again to change one thing.
Cons
I think what can make Docusign even better is to receive email notifications not only once the document has been completed, but once it has been opened and viewed by the recipient as well.

Our experience with DocuSign was awful. It's so bad that we're moving to another software early, even though we will be paying for this contract for another year. We're considering it a sunk cost and moving on.
Pros
Signers found it easy to use, we never had a complaint from people we sent documents to.
Cons
The Docusign Interface is truly awful. They made us pay for training, but then dumped us into their "legacy" system. We could not easily view documents that other users had sent. We had to search through the other user account, search through individual sections of "Waiting for Others" "Completed" etc. You couldn't just search for the recipient name and find what you were looking for. There was no way to see how many envelopes we had left. When we tried to contact support, it was more than 5 business days before we received a response, and we had to follow up to get that. You can't cancel out of your contract or refund unused envelopes on a corporate contract. Docusign is so bad that we have decided to move on to another program and eat the cost of the unused envelopes. Their pricing on corporate accounts is not particularly competitive.

Pros
The time stamps and verification make it great for legal documents and contracts. Being able to get the signature in real time helps to save time and money.
Cons
I would like it if a photo was taken of the person signing to help verify that this person signing is who they say they are and not just an email provided.

DocuSign Review
Reviewed on 26/07/2024
Pros
What I liked most about DocuSign was its seamless ability to streamline the document signing process. The intuitive interface made it easy to upload, send, and sign documents from anywhere, significantly reducing the time and hassle associated with traditional paper-based methods. Additionally, its robust security features and compliance with legal standards provided peace of mind, ensuring that all transactions were safe and legally binding. The integration with various business tools and platforms further enhanced productivity, making DocuSign an invaluable asset in managing workflow efficiently.
Cons
What I liked least about DocuSign was the occasional complexity of its pricing structure. For small businesses or individual users, the costs could sometimes seem high, especially when only a few documents needed to be signed each month. Additionally, while the platform is generally user-friendly, certain advanced features could be difficult to navigate without proper training or support. The integration with some third-party applications occasionally presented challenges, requiring additional steps to ensure smooth operation. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall benefits of DocuSign still outweighed the inconveniences.

The most I liked on is that i do not need papers, printers and scanner anymore. Signing contracts (from my side at least) became very easy and fast. All the clients and partners were pleased when when they do not have to deal with paper documents. Great platform but can be too robust if you need just a simple e signature tool.
If you need automations, sms deliverability, additional alert frequency, and certain security settings, then docusign is worth looking at
Pros
Their security level is top tier with activity tracking and more automations.
You can even collect payments at time of signature. It's filled with a bunch of features and integration
Cons
Ultimately it was too robust for current needs and the price reflected it. If you're looking for just standard e-signature you can find other options, docusign is more expensive but you get more features.

DocuSign tackles the fundamental problem of delivering and signing digital documents; in my case, it assisted me in resolving the issue of inefficient and time-consuming document workflows in businesses and organizations. Docusign solves the problem of people signing papers without having to print, physically sign, scan, and email them; this method is inconvenient; Docusign handles all of the work for you. DocuSign is one of the few electronic signature solutions that is generally recognized and utilized in numerous sectors and government agencies.
Pros
Docusign is extremely simple to use, allowing you to just point and click and, if required, effortlessly submit and forward without having to recreate the document being delivered; virtually any agreement can be signed electronically across all business sectors and industries.
DocuSign eSignature removes the expenses associated with printing, mailing, and storage agreements; it is also extremely simple to use and secure. With the aid of connectors, we can automate the majority of the human labor. Docusign makes doing business easy with digital contracts that are as good as paper and can be delivered to individuals all over the world.
Cons
Despite the fact that the method is extremely basic, I had difficulty integrating it with the servicenow application engine, I would also like a nice user manual, the absence of instructions and articles exacerbated my aggravation. I also believe that the possibility to modify forms might be made a bit easier; editing papers and adding new fields may be difficult.

Overall a poor experience which ultimately led us to explore using PandaDocs as a replacement.
Pros
Docusign contract open tracking was really powerful for us because it empowered our sales team to follow up and close deals in real-time.
Cons
Docusign is not user friendly UX and extremely restricting when it comes to customisation. We were constantly struggling with clients who couldn't understand how to sign because of the poor UX/UI. In addition, we wanted to add a lot of customisation to our contracts to make them appear like pitch decks but this proved incredibly hard in Docusign. We weren't blown away by customer success and were genuinely surprised Docusign was the market leader at the time.
