Allows for unlimited customizability and much better payment processing. Your website development process will be much better and well wroth the money. > > **Cons**: Not as plug and play as other solutions but far more customizable and better for long term scalability. ----- ### "Excellent for small to medium sized organisations" — 5.0/5 > **Emma** | *13 February 2026* | Nonprofit Organization Management | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10 > > **Pros**: WooCommerce offers great value for money and a flexible service. It is free to install and you can customise options to your preference. It is easy to use and set up. WooCommerce supports many different payment options and methods, supporting major credit cards, digital wallets, and bank transfers. We have never experienced any payments being declined using WooCommerce which is vital to ensure smooth sales and maximising income. > > **Cons**: To get the best out of WooCommerce and all the features, you do need to get the add on extensions. These are paid for and require some technical expertise to maximise their efficiency and functionality. It works fine for our smaller set-up as we do not require many of these additional features. > > My overall experience with WooCommerce is a positive one for the modest size of our organisation and in-house technical knowledge and experience. ----- ### "Works, but tedious" — 3.0/5 > **Angela** | *20 October 2025* | Mental Health Care | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10 > > **Pros**: WooCommerce allows you to integrate your storefront onto your website. It allows for numerous payment options and has many different customization options. > > **Cons**: I think that it is a little tedious to upload and add merchandise. There are often kind of "hidden" settings that affect the the visibility on the website. It syncs stock with Square, but does not always do this accurately either. > > I don't love WooCommerce. It works to support our storefront on the website, but it is a bit tedious and has so many settings that you can really get bogged down in checking them all. ----- ### "A flexible solution for creative shops" — 5.0/5 > **Shawn** | *26 August 2026* | Marketing & Advertising | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: I've helped several clients build their visual identity on WooCommerce, and what I appreciate most as a designer is the total freedom the platform gives for customizing every visual aspect of the shop > > **Cons**: What requires a bit more effort on my part is the technical maintenance, since WooCommerce needs regular updates to stay fast and secure. ----- ### "Powerful Customization when Coupled with Konio WordPress Theme" — 5.0/5 > **Anthony** | *17 December 2025* | Design | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: The biggest advantage of WooCommerce is its flexibility. Because it runs on WordPress, you can customize nearly every part of your store — from design to functionality — using tightly integrated themes such as KonioWP. > > **Cons**: WooCommerce can become complex and plugin‑heavy as your store grows unless you're familiar with the ins and outs of WooCommerce. > > The only ecommerce platform I use anymore coupled with the Konio WordPress theme, especially when building stores that need custom functionality. The platform’s flexibility is its biggest strength — you can shape your store exactly how you want it, and the WordPress ecosystem gives you endless options for design and features. It’s powerful, scalable, and ideal for developers or store owners who want full control. ----- Page: 1 / 43\ Next: [Next page](https://www.getapp.co.uk/software/101759/woocommerce?page=2) ## Links - [View on GetApp](https://www.getapp.co.uk/software/101759/woocommerce) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | de | | | de-AT | | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | es | | | es-CL | | | es-CO | | | es-MX | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | nl | | | nl-BE | | | pt | | | pt-PT | | ----- ## Structured Data
