About ChiroTouch

ChiroTouch is an electronic health record (EHR) practice management solution developed for chiropractors. Users can securely store patient profiles, schedule appointments, create SOAP notes, and process payments and claims. ChiroTouch helps users remain HIPAA compliant, track employee productivity, and optimize marketing campaigns.

With ChiroTouch’s EHR software, practitioners can digitally manage patient profiles and communication while remaining up-to-date with the latest compliance regulations. With the ChiroTouch patient portal, patients can complete all necessary forms from home, which streamlines the check-in process. Users can also communicate with patients to remind them of upcoming appointments as well as send targeted marketing messages via email or SMS to reengage customers and increase conversions.

ChiroTouch provides users with tools to track claims, process payments electronically, and verify insurance eligibility. ChiroTouch helps practitioners streamline the billing process by automatically saving clients’ payment information and enabling patients to pay bills in person, online, via contactless devices, or over the phone.

ChiroTouch offers users a HIPAA compliant solution for data back-up and recovery. All files are backed-up automatically with offsite storage that provides disaster recovery. Users can also establish role-based access restrictions for each authorized user.

ChiroTouch offers native mobile applications to process payments, manage patient information, schedule appointments, fill out forms, and streamline the check-in and check-out processes.

Overall I love Chirotouch and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth and easy software system to connect the front and back of the office. I feel that low or high volume offices can use this as an asset with forecasting, monthly goals, and also the use of the customization it provides to practices. This program helped us achieve going full electronic in our office, connect and improve the patient treatment notes to billing in a much more time efficient way, also it gave my staff areas where they could get involved and come up with solutions to alerts and patient notes in the provider all in one section. I highly recommend this product.

Pros

I like the ease of the program, I feel it is very user friendly and easily you can teach yourself how to navigate through it. I think the billing process in accounting is also set up very well to understand where you are at in the process with claims. I also like the customization the program offers when it comes to visits, color coding, and how you can create the system to work best for whomever is logged into the program, so the different views of the schedule area are great.

Cons

My only complaint with this software is that the reports section could be tweaked, some of the answers that come up on the monthly stats report are not correct and we always have to count them by day specifically the New Patient numbers.

Recent I signed up for CT ProBill and the experience has been the most outstanding. Not only did I have an awesome team to expedite the process, I gained a "biller" that far exceeded my expectations. My clinic was only collecting 19.2% before [sensitive content hidden] took over. She was thorough in her analysis, clear with her explanations and available every step of the way. I literally thought I would have to close my doors because money was not coming in. In reality, claims were not being submitted by the in-house biller. [sensitive content hidden] took it upon her own to submit the claims that were just hanging in the wind, so-to-speak, with no benefit to herself. [sensitive content hidden] not only proved that she was more than competent for the job, but that she wants my clinic to succeed as much as I do!

Pros

ChiroTouch is the simplest EHR that I've ever used. The training is outstanding. I love that you can make it as personal as you need it.

Cons

While I like the macros, I am not crazy about the 7.2 version. The 7.0 is definitely better.

Plan for a large ongoing expense

Pros

The product seems to be comprehensive. It handles a lot of functions in my office - scheduling, managing patient ledgers, office flow. Inventory.

Cons

Once I purchased the software, I was bombarded with emails telling me to let them know when I went live. Little did I know that as soon as I clicked I was live, my initial training sessions ended. It was nice, as a new office to have low monthly payments to buy the software, but when the first year is over and the payments go up, the technical support goes away - as does your access to MyChirotouch so that I cannot log in and create new or update existing emails through the system, including patient visit reminders. I cannot access a user guide. I cannot even update or change the services I subscribe to or billing methods. I suppose the justification for the high cost of yearly support is so they can continue updating the system, but if you're a cash office as I am, this system is over qualified. Plus, it seems like I'm nickle and dimed to death as each additional service (online intake forms, patient reminders, backup etc) is an additional fee. I hate their intake form, the only service I like and use is the reminders, but I can't save any money subscribing to just one service because they are bundled. Having their backup service is probably useless without tech support. I did well without support for 2 years, then I moved my office to a new location. I'm having so much difficulty connecting my ipads so that I can use the apps, and because my static ip address changed, my patients can no longer use the online scheduling feature. I've called for help, and was told they are now only responsible for connecting one office computer to chirotouch. If customer rep was to help me with anything beyond that he "would be dinged because the calls are monitored." Customer service at its best, right there. I will need to pay for support for them to help me with these basic functions - unless I bring in my own local IT person, but we still won't be able to update online scheduling without access to mychirotouch.com. "Well, this is how we get paid" says rep. So, obviously, this is a company who has a culture of not taking care of the customer. $ to purchase + subscribed services won't go far with this company. Plan an additional $ /year to have full availability to basic features.

Pros

The same as last time feature. I like the carryover feature as we are treating many of the new patient on a regular basis, and often there symptoms change gradually.

Cons

This is minor, but I wish that when you look up a patient and then go back to the patient list, that it would take you back to the last alphabetized patient list. I am often reviewing family members.

Industry standard and one of the most used. Everything is compared to CT for the most part and one of the biggest players. Have a good IT who knows the system to not rely on spotty support that takes weeks to schedule an appointment.

Pros

Pretty quick to do notes. Has a lot of options to add or upload information into notes. When a system has gone down I have never lost any data so it does a great job of protecting from data loss. Macros can be modified and optimized.

Cons

Extremely expensive and even more expensive support. Customizable but very high learning curve. Initial visit notes take too long to write up for a program that is supposed to be convenient.
