About ABC Trainerize
ABC Trainerize is a web and mobile personal training solution (Web + Mobile App + Apple Watch App) for health clubs, fitness professionals and their members (clients). ABC Trainerize helps fitness clubs increase their revenue by streamlining member management and engagement functions as well as automating online program delivery.
The ABC Trainerize mobile app helps fitness businesses build and offer workout schedules and meal plans, and set nutrition levels to help members reach their target weight or fitness goals. Fitness clubs or fitness professionals can build, save and print training plan templates, workout details and fitness targets in PDF format, then copy and further tailor these from client to client. An in-app messaging feature connects trainers directly with clients and helps fitness clubs to improve member retention rates and stimulate engagement.
Gamification features such as badges - awarded upon the achievement of personal bests - or in-app chat-like messaging help to increase client motivation, as well as engagement with the software. Clients are encouraged to share their achievements on social media which provides advertisement for the fitness club. Trainers can also group clients into groups and offer group training mixed with workout activity which is auto-published into groups.
ABC Trainerize can be branded with a fitness club or trainer's logo and a personalized video can be included on the desktop login page and mobile app.
With in-app payments for automated subscription collection and a trainer marketplace, ABC Trainerize also assists fitness professionals with new client acquisition by matching clients with trainers based on their profile, services, location and specialty. Trainers can add their certifications, qualifications, etc. to further enhance their Trainerize.me profile.

Trainerize helped my online fitness coaching business manage and train clients with exercise plans and nutritional information.
Pros
Trainerize made it extremely easy to schedule and manage client programs with built in exercise videos and instruction and plug and play capability. Clients found it intuitive and easy to use the app and get trained this way and it increased compliance as well.
Cons
The software was a bit bulky to use with a high amount of clients and otherwise, there was not much nutritional functionality offered besides integration with MyFitnessPal which did help a lot. No major complaints however, the software works really well for use.

Pros
It was somewhat easy to navigate and had good customer service.
Cons
NO group reporting for the challenge groups and no live training features in the app

Its a low cost option for a new studio or studio that doesnt have many software needs.
Cons
It's not user friendly, lots of glitches and doesn't have much functionality.

The great thing about Trainerize is that you can add your own exercise videos from your YouTube account very easily, which negates the worst aspect of Trainerize -- it's exercise selection.
Pros
The ability to schedule messages, workouts, check ins, and progress photos is easy and intuitive.
Cons
The built-in exercise options are lacking, and some of them are just unsafe exercises altogether.

I really enjoy using Trainerize, however I believe connection is key between a coach and client and would like to see the communication experience enhanced.
Pros
My favorite part about the software is the analytics Trainerize provides after each workout.
Cons
My least favorite part about the software is the communication, I would like voice reply or video reply to be included as a standard feature.
