SimplyBook.me is an online appointment booking system for small businesses to enterprises across all service-providing industries. The solution caters for all service businesses provided that they accept bookings on a time scheduled basis including beauty salons, spas, gyms, medical clinics, pet services, restaurants, universities, child care providers, financial advisers, counselors, and more. On top of that we provide a high class enterprise solution where corporations can offer online bookings for each of their outlets and maintain a high level overview of each outlet, all from within the admin interface.

The software provides tools for creating custom online booking websites or widgets to put on your own website, and enables you to accept bookings there as well as on Facebook, Instagram, Google my Business and through Booking.page the global service marketplace. SimplyBook.me can be tailored to meet particular business needs and staff access levels are completely configurable, with administrators able to determine what information each member can access.

In addition to the basic features provided, SimplyBook.me enables business to accept payments online an onsite with POS feature, generate reports on sales and website traffic, request additional information from clients upon booking, launch promotions, sell products upon booking, sell gift cards, offer coupons, implement a waiting list, enable a loyalty system, manage memberships and classes and more. The system will automatically send email or SMS appointment reminders to clients, helping to reduce no-shows. Businesses can launch referral programs and send review request emails to clients with SimplyBook.me.

At last SimplyBook.me comes with an Admin App where you can easily manage your bookings on the go. On top of that you can get your own branded client app to make it super easy for your clients to reschedule your services!

    Pros

    What's nice about SimplyBook.me is that you can customize which features you want.

    Cons

    There are nothing I 'dislike' about SimplyBook.me. I would make a couple of improvements, though: 1. We are glad there are both session confirmation and reminders, but we would really like it if we could schedule a reminder around 1000 days from the date of training. This might sound like a long time, but the certifications we offer are good for 3 years and 1000 days would still give them a couple of months to schedule their recertification training. 2. It would be nice if the 'unlimited' tier of add-ons wasn't so much more than the tier that gives you 8 add-ons. At most, I would like one or two more, but it's not worth such a huge jump in price. 3. We really like the idea that email can come from our business email address, but at the moment, it's just not working for us because the SMTP settings just aren't being accepted.

    I would give the service overall 3 stars just need to simplify things and make the booking site user friendly it can be intimidating which makes it not so helpful for my business.

    Pros

    The Booking site is very difficult to navigate. My clients shouldn’t have to pay for the add ons if they are paying for the deposit. I’ve had a very hard time with using all of the custom features to market my business. The text option doesn’t work to send out notifications to clients. I was told you had to have an android to create an app when most people have iPhones. Sending out notifications to my clients needs to fixed soon.

    Pros

    The interface for setting up was intuitive and quick to master. There were plenty of features to cover most use-cases especially payment options for international operations such as South Africa is supported.

    Cons

    I did not like that I had to pay for setting up a custom domain (to link one I already own - ostensibly for SSL which doesn't make sense since this could be free or included in subscription fee) and more options are needed for managing late bookings or adding bookings to a waiting list.

    SimplyBook has many more features, the interface is more intuitive which makes client onboarding much easier. The interface is slicker and smoother presenting a more professional experience at a marginally higher cost.
