### Key benefits of Presto

 Heterogenous information, including both structured and unstructured content such as documents, websites, images, FAQs, and news feeds, can be consolidated from internal and external sources, and presented in a searchable interface with a single point of access.

 A social knowledge network can be created to encourage collaboration and leverage community knowledge, with features including tagging, commenting, liking, and rating.

 Security is controlled by role-based access permissions, allowing users to control functionality for both groups and individual users at the user, record, and field levels as well as for complete content sets.

 The Presto API is available to integrate with existing systems, and gives users the ability to read/write content, search external systems, and enable external authentication and Single Sign On (SSO).

> **Pros**: This product does just what need, and is one of the few more-or-less out-of-the-box products we could find on the market. Customer service in implementation and support has been great. We have created what we feel is a very user-friendly site for the public to find information, and at a reasonable price.

> **Cons**: There are a few pieces of the portal that are not as customizable without more extensive HTML coding. It is limited in terms of advanced searching across content types.

> We are very pleased with Presto as a knowledge management system, and have gotten good feedback from our patrons.
