The Animal Welfare App (AWA) is an record keeping and animal welfare assessment solution for businesses and organizations within the zoological and wildlife management industry. It is the ONLY app on the market that includes fully-integrated and fully-automated welfare assessment scoring.
The web-based application offers tools for communication, record keeping, health management, water management, dive logging, census creation, and more. The Animal Welfare App offers a mobile web app to allow users to record data in the field, including logging feeds, conditions, and weights, reporting incidents, checking inspection to-do lists, capturing images, or recording test results.
Designed to help animal welfare organizations with projects such as conservation, wild animal studies, rehabilitation of rescued wildlife, research initiatives, and more, the AWA offers a wide range of features to cover all needs. Daily records can be used by all types of welfare organizations to log, manage, and analyze data in real time. Users can define the metrics and fields that are relevant to them, and input data into online forms for analysis, including metrics such as food intake, daily sessions, weight tracking, behavior, and more. The AWA contains a range of pre-built reports including animal health, water quality, animal weight trends, session behavior summaries, and more, and dashboards show data at-a-glance.
The AWA also facilitates health tracking of animals with the ability to input test results manually or automatically from a variety of lab analyzers or using external equipment. Users can track hematology, microbiology, cytology, urinology, and other forms of data, and physical exams can also be carried out with the ability to input data into customized forms. Other daily tasks can be managed within AWA such as water quality analysis and tracking, census management, daily facility summaries, mortality tracking, prescription management, food expiration reminders, calendar management, and more.

Pros
I liked all of the options for accurate record keeping. You can record feed sessions, water changes, medical issues, basically anything you can think of. It's also great for keeping track of inventory. I liked the step by step tutorials that were offered when I first signed up, and the knowledge base is always helpful. Customer service is great, and I always receive a reply soon after I ask questions.
Cons
Overall, I think this software is complicated and not very easy to use. I constantly have to use the help email to ask questions and get clarification.

Functional and helpful overall, a good work in progress. But lots of details need to be addressed.

Pros
Potential for tracking just about everything we would want to regarding the exhibits. I haven't had to use it, but my collegues have been happy with customer service.
Cons
Buggy. System will crash if it doesn't like something. Comments are not always easy to find from basecamp. App does not have the same functionality as web app. Somethings are not user intuitive and it is not always easy to just go back a screen.

Pros
OERCA One Earth helps you keep everything you in a convenient, organized, safe secure place. Excellent support for the Non tech savvy such as myself might have if a question arise. Once ya learned it improves quality of life for sure! It makes communications a breeze, the higher powers can stay up to date and problems can be addressed quickly.
Cons
Its a GEM of a APP, but a little rough around the edges still Not 100% polished. Can be temperamental it doesnt like something.

Pros
You don't need people's opinion on a fact. Do bears exist? Yes. Is One Earth the best record-keeping software for animal care and welfare? Objectively yes!
The user-friendly design, same-day customer service, and continual commitment to innovation makes this system the complete package! My favorite feature is the Express Session; I am able to input several individuals' records in mere minutes, and behavioral records no longer feel like a chore!
Cons
I work in an isolated location where I do not have access to internet or computers. A mobile app design which allows me to access individual diets (similar to the desktop Express Session layout) would be ideal!
