I also enjoy how easy Kubernetes Engine made deploying containers and scaling up existing deployments. There's so many knobs and buttons the customization options are limitless. I was really impressed the first time I set up a client in GPC that had stringent security requirements. I was able to adjust VPC networks and IAM settings to match the requirements without breaking into the documentation. Mobile access is available and handy for keeping an eye on resources from anywhere. > > **Cons**: The biggest downside (and this isn't a GPC issue so much as a cloud issue) is the various fees that seem to find their way onto an invoice without much explanation, I'm looking at you egress fees. The second dislike was how sometimes it was difficult to get support right away, sometimes at slow times you can wait a little while before an agent becomes available which can slowdown time to resolution. > > I've relied on GCP as a formidable tool in my tool bag for at least the last 5 years and often pitch it to clients just getting into cloud. It's been incredibly reliable and does well at maintaining parity with out cloud solutions...despite the occasional billing snafu\! ----- ### "Powerful, Scalable, and Flexible Cloud Platform" — 4.0/5 > **Khimson** | *21 August 2026* | Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10 > > **Pros**: Wide range of cloud computing services Excellent scalability and flexibility Strong security and reliability Powerful data analytics and AI capabilities Good integration with other Google services Extensive tools for developers and IT teams Pay-as-you-go pricing provides flexibility > > **Cons**: Can be difficult for beginners Pricing can become complicated with multiple services Requires technical knowledge to manage effectively Some services have a steep learning curve Costs can increase quickly if resources aren't monitored > > Google Cloud is a powerful and highly scalable cloud platform with a wide range of services for businesses, developers, and IT professionals. It provides excellent infrastructure, security, analytics, and AI capabilities. The platform can take time to learn, and managing costs requires careful monitoring, but overall it is a reliable and flexible cloud solution. ----- ### "Great if you stick to the free cloud" — 3.0/5 > **Susanne** | *25 March 2026* | Consumer Services | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10 > > **Pros**: I love the fact That no matter what happens to your device your data is safe as long as you back it up beforehand and that you can access your data anytime > > **Cons**: I hate that if you have to buy more storage you have to continuously pay monthly to keep your data and if you don't pay it it you lose a lot of your data > > It's great to wb able to move all your info from one device to another and and it keeps it safe if you don't miss a payment ----- ### "Automatic back up for photos" — 5.0/5 > **Betty** | *21 June 2026* | Real Estate | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: It keeps my photos stored effortlessly. I don’t have to make choices to delete any pictures because there is plenty of space on the cloud and they are backed up automatically. > > **Cons**: I don’t love that when I run out of space I have to pay for more space. The coat seems a little high. > > I have my pictures backed up and I don’t have to worry about losing them or taking up space on my phone. ----- ### "Goods and bads" — 4.0/5 > **Jeff** | *12 August 2026* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10 > > **Pros**: It works really well and does the things I'd like it to do better than other companies and services. > > **Cons**: What I didn't like is that there is not enough custom settings or ability to change things the way I want. ----- Page: 1 / 95\ Next: [Next page](https://www.getapp.co.uk/software/122483/google-cloud-platform?page=2) ## Links - [View on GetApp](https://www.getapp.co.uk/software/122483/google-cloud-platform) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | de | | | de-AT | | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | es | | | es-CL | | | es-CO | | | es-MX | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | nl | | | nl-BE | | | pt | | | pt-PT | | ----- ## Structured Data
