About Arena QMS
Arena QMS is a cloud-based, product-centric quality management system that provides businesses with tools to build a single source of truth and ensure regulatory compliance across the entire product lifecycle. The multilayered security model also ensures the business's intellectual property (IP) is always safe and secure.
Arena QMS connects quality records directly to the product design in a single system. It helps document and track closed-loop quality processes for device master records (DMRs), design history files (DHFs), training records, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) in context to the entire product record and bill of materials (BOM).
Arena QMS allows organizations to configure role-based access for employees and facilitate collaboration among team members or supply chain partners. Managers can conduct quality assurance tests, identify potential issues, and review or revise test specifications according to requirements. It also lets users streamline operational processes in compliance with various industry regulations, such as FDA 21, CFR Part 820, and ISO 13485.
Arena QMS provides an API, which enables businesses to integrate the platform with various third-party applications, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Zendesk, Salesforce, Kenandy, and more. Overall, Arena QMS has significantly improved our quality management processes. The software has centralized our documentation and compliance tracking, which saves time and reduces errors. While there are areas for improvement, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks.
Pros
The system's cloud-based approach ensures accessibility, and the integrations with other PLM tools streamline workflows effectively. Also the reporting features are highly customizable which allow us to generate insights quickly.
Cons
The learning curve for new users can be steep, especially for those without prior experience in quality management systems. Also some occasional system lags were noticed during peak usage times.

Positive experience with the system that has maintained our quality control and compliance to meet increasing external compliance demands with MDR and FDA compliance.
Pros
The set up and validation management process are not burdensome as the software is validated but configurable. This helps reduce the compliance management burden of the system while allowing us to customize and add fields as needed.
Cons
There are almost no process flows/logic gates in the system. I have not used a system before that does not allow, for example, an open-field text box to appear when an "Other" option is selected. This can lead to some burdensome workflows with lots of fields that are only applicable in certain circumstances.

Overall the software has been very useful to our company and the customer service has been outstanding. Arena gives the customers the ability to customize workflow and also listens to the voices of the customers when releasing new updates.
Pros
ARENA is a very user friendly platform and easy to navigate. It has made it easy for our company to create, document, and maintain Bill of Materials and show visibility to those in our company, as well as third party suppliers/contract manufacturers.
Requests and Changes are easily created and implemented.
Cons
The user interface itself looks a little outdated. Some of the integrations aren't exactly what was desired. Even with the Third party integrations, there is a good bit of backend, manual entry to be done.

the interface is intuitive and allows all important information to be readily available. The concept of a QMS is vital and Arena does it well.

The Quality module and Product lifecycle management has been critical to our successful implementation.
Cons
Uploading data into Arena can take a while without proper guidance. We uploaded thousands of documents but bulk uploads would cause errors during import due to human error.
