> **Pros**: What I like the most about Guitar Pro is that it enables me to put the melodies and beats in my head on to paper, even before I have touched and instrument, especially in cases where it is an instrument that I do not play (like the drums). I like how easy it is to use and how it allows me to be creative. Editing sheet music has never been easier to do, and reading sheet music has never been more fun\!

> **Cons**: What I like the least about Guitar Pro, especially version 7, is that they rushed the release to market and irritated a lot of long term users with all the bugs that were still present. These bugs have been fixed and the software is really great now, but it leaves a bad taste.

> **Pros**: For someone just starting to learn how to play the guitar it is such a helpful tool, ever since my teacher recommended it my skills started improving, specially by playing with back tracks (something that allows you to practice keeping the rythm and keeping with the beat). Practicing on your own with a sheet of music paper is nothing compared to practicing along beats from this software, it has been a gamechanger.

> **Pros**: This software is one of the best things that happened to me when I was learning how to play bass, mostly for working on my rhythm skills, practicing on your own without a good track is a big handicap and this software gets rid of this issue. It is also amazing for writing your own music, which is something that halps you develop your musician ear.

> **Cons**: This software is a bit overwhelming when you first start using it. If it weren't for the fact that my music teacher served as my guitar pro instructor I would still be trying to figure out how most of the tools worked.
