FS.Net

About FS.Net
FS.Net is a companion web application to FSWorks. FS.Net is a tool which can manage a fleet of FSWorks stations. Each workstation sends data up to the application's database. Once the data is collected, FS.Net uses its modules to chart and report the data as granularly or as broadly as needed. This data can be used to drive alerts, send emails, schedule tasks, and much more.
FSWorks by Factory Systems is a workstation-level application which interfaces with equipment and/or operators to collect metrics for either production or quality measures. The program is a robustly capable SPC and OEE tool. Users can chart and report their local data, import and export specs, manage machines, create GRR studies, interface with almost any input format, and so much more. Once the data is collected locally, there are many options for exporting the data to multiple formats.

It's worked great to pull all our inspection data into one central location that we can automate reports and make meaningful real time displays with Monitor Module.. We had some growing pains at first to implement our extra data heavy solutions but the FS team went above and beyond to make it work for what we needed.
Pros
It's enabled us to get real time vision on our process data that used to take someone hours to manually create reports and share. The UI is easy to learn to create custom displays, run reports/charts.
Cons
Some of our applications collect alot of data. These can sometimes be slow to process reports if we're not creative with filters.

FS.net is a game changer for accessing the data and performing data analysis. You can set up charts, and reports, and compare all different kinds of specifications.
Pros
Remote access makes it nice to check on the information needed no matter where you are currently located.
Cons
You have to be very fluent in how to perform the necessary set up tasks and stay refreshed on the process. But overall, it's very easy to learn.

We have used it for many years, and the only issues we have had have been self-inflicted by not having our POMs and Department names/workstations structured correctly.
Pros
The ability to pull date from multiple gauges without having to physically be present at the gauge itself.
Cons
There is nothing really that I dislike, but making sure that your POM naming conventions are structured and organized is a big key to using this software without confusion. Unless you are the administrator, you may not know how other information is structured and therefore can get lost if the POMs are not properly named.
