### "Great Potential, Continual Hurdles" — 2.0/5

> **Pros**: MusicShop360 promises just about anything a music retail shop would want in a POS system, along with the most popular integrations. Its subscription cost is also competitive. Pre-onboarding support was fantastic; over 8 months, they addressed all of my questions.

> **Cons**: The implementation was so botched it cost significant money and frustration. Critical features that were specifically confirmed to work as described simply did not. Their website offers no chargeback protection, and their fraud detection systems failed to catch fraudulent orders, costing over $10,000. Bugs affecting normal daily operations have gone unresolved for 3 years, forcing constant workarounds. Tech support is limited to opening cases for the developers, who are inaccessible directly; updates are delayed and only come through front-line support relaying information. Some recent "upgrade" choices don't work correctly for an omnichannel business. Despite being told I'm a VIP and part of the customer advisory group, I'm still constantly asking for help on major issues and features commonly without resolution.

> Overall, this has been a rollercoaster. The pre-onboarding process gave me real confidence, but that confidence didn't carry through to implementation. The launch was badly botched, they failed to delete any of the 8 months of test data and misaligned much of the imported data, costing significant money and time, much of that expense in payroll and my own time spent working around or remedying the software's issues. Since then, it's been three years of managing around bugs and gaps rather than running my business smoothly. I stick with it because in theory it should provide exactly what an omnichannel music retailer needs, and their team is clearly trying to improve things. Unfortunately, there are continual hurdles to it actually working as promised, and getting real resolution on major issues remains a struggle despite my "VIP" status.

> **Pros**: One of the things MS360 does well is customer service. The support team is very helpful. Brenna from customer service is nice to talk to.

> **Cons**: The overwhelming amount of bugs. Not a smooth transition from old system. Resolving bugs takes forever. The payment processing they use is not good whatsoever. Contracts on autopay didn't work for a solid 3 months without resolving the issue. Lack of communication about severe bug issues is pitiful. Lack of testing out new features that MS360 rolls out, which results in more bugs and more problems. Reliance on AI as oppose to actually building out the software we subscribe to is comical. The reporting system works only 10% of the time. The developer and owner want us to use AI for generating reports and not using their own reporting system. The owner and developer have almost given on making the software stable, and relying on Claude to build out the system for them.

> Overall, the switch from our old software to the new one has been underwhelming. The advertised low costs have been fulfilled, but mainly because we were credited with free months because of the overwhelming amount of bugs. The lack of resolving bugs for severe and important issues is the worst part. Overall satisfaction level 2/5.
