About TeamViewer Remote
TeamViewer is remote support, remote access, and online meetings management software designed to keep people and devices connected; allowing users to access their office PC from the road, video conference across town, and share their screen for remote support from the other side of the world. As a multi-platform and multi-language solution, TeamViewer gives users the flexibility to run on a broad spectrum of devices and operating systems in more than 30 different languages.
TeamViewer's general features include computer and contacts management, automatic discovery, and integrated monitoring checks, as well as user and device management. TeamViewer also incorporates chat, file transfer, and whiteboard tools, plus remote audio and video, high-definition VoIP, and session recording technology. Remote control features include remote computer restart, printing, and installation. Built-in reporting features help users log incoming and outgoing connections, and learn exactly who did what, when, and for how long.
To help users manage meetings and presentations, TeamViewer supports scheduling tools and allows users to communicate interactively and effectively via chat, VoIP, video, and telephone conference. Meetings, video calls, chats, and teleconferences can be started with just a click. TeamViewer's service desk integration enables users to manage incoming tickets directly from within their email application, or provide support via chat, or remote control session. TeamViewer also supports collision detection, bulk actions, and quotes, as well as pre-built integrations with Freshdesk, zendesk, Avira, and more.

If you are providing remote serice, you need this

This is a robust workhorse for any and all remote assistance, resource maintanance tool. In my years of use, I have only seen it fail a couple of times. There were some issues with network, but that is not TeamViewer's fault. Do keep in mind, to get the best out of this tool, you should have a stable network on both ends.
Pros
This is the most stable remote access tool I have tested, and I tested an awful lot of them. The file transfer feature works like a charm and is very secure, if you are worried about privacy.
Being a remote employee, I have to use PCs all over the world pretty frequently. TeamViewer has proved to be the most stable tool for that. The remote access without assistance feature is especially helpful for a project manager who needs to maintain assests in separate locations.
Cons
To be honest, the sound settings is a little confusing to set up. While on a call it gets tangled up with the call Skype/Slack/Hangouts etc) and creates very irritating screeching noise and/or feedback. It is best to turn of the sound. I guess you can use TeamViewer for calls as well, but I never figured it out as we are pretty much embedded into Slack :D
Also the price is rather steep. It is hard for small teams to afford the tool. But if remote work is a core component of your project, you simply have to manage.

A tool that enables remote assistance with almost no operational restrictions

It is very useful because remote connection is possible whenever there is an Internet environment for terminals in places that do not have a VPN environment. For those who are not familiar with PCs, we also use it for classes on the use of the system and Excel, as you can see the operation on this side. Since it can be accessed immediately even on bases outside the prefecture, problems can be solved immediately.
Pros
Installation is easy and can be started with little or no initial configuration. There are few input items at the time of connection, and even if the other party's employee is not very familiar with PCs, etc., the remote connection can be made easily. Since confirmation messages from the administrator can be displayed when the software is installed, almost all operations can be performed while the other party is connected, and almost all operations can be performed while the other party is remotely connected.
Cons
TeamViewer 13 is what we are currently using, but it was only ever purchased once. It looks like the latest version only has one subscription, so I would like to have a one-time purchase. It may depend on the network environment, but performance can be slow.

DamewareReasons for Choosing TeamViewer Remote
Also, before the introduction of the system, there were times when I had backups of data and files sent by email, but it was difficult to manage, as the files I wanted were not attached. After introducing TeamViewer, when providing customer support, most of the customers who asked us to come to the office were convinced that we could solve the problem faster if we connected them remotely, as there was no time to travel.Switched From

I think it is by far the best remote software that cannot log in unless you start the software that receives the remote control and tells it the password that changes every time you log in to the remote software. You can relieve the clients by telling them that the system is designed so that they can't log in without permission.Response from TeamViewer

Charged us $1230 - when you go to mange subtraction page - you can't do anything - you can't canceled or remove credit card - they will ask you to submit a ticket 28 days before billing and trust them to not charge you again - you can't do anything but hope you have no control to anything its life contract as long as your credit card is active they will charge you - if you are dead they will still charge you Auto renewal forever - you will be forced to change or cancel your credit card or call the bank to block them .They charge us $1230.00 - called them next day to cancel - the answer was to every question - NO Refund - When the Scammers got the money ITS Game Over.Their excuse for the scam - they expecting you to read the invoice and email them 28 days before the billing day - and hope they will respond back to you and pray to god that they will not charge you for the auto renewalI myself called the Bank - I am canceling the credit card and fighting the charges.
Pros
Just like any remote Software - you can use LogmeIn.com - its better company to trust
Cons

Over all the program is good initally. Great product for the cost.
Pros
The ease of setting this up initially when I first got on board with my company was pretty easy. The speed of the connection and clarity was great. Would recommend for a first time desktop share user.
Cons
The program break periodically. Getting the connection back up can be a pain at times trying to get the code from one computer to the other computer. Sometimes the program would freeze and cause issues to dis-connect.

This is the app i use for remote assitance for private use.
Problems i encountered over the years usualy have workarounds, but main thing is that you can in matter of minutes access remote PC and do the magic.
Pros
It is easy to use. In a few minutes anybody with low tech skills can install client and send you data needed for remote assistance. It works with great even with fairly slow internet connection. My number one solution for private usage
Cons
Well price for companies for premium solutions is overpriced.
There is no Wayland support for Ubuntu, and also remote access to some Android devices is limited.
When i bought licence few years ago, after some time i could not use licence.
When they release new bigger version you loose you licence ( payed 500€). Also montly fee is fairly too high especialy for 3rd world countries.
