With our various document types you can create professional looking documents that will fit right in with your business. Whether you need a secure PDF, a dynamically generated document, or the flexibility of a Word/Excel/PowerPoint, WebMerge supports it all.

Once you're finished creating your merged document, you can choose from one of WebMerge's powerful delivery options, such as via email, saving it in the cloud, or sending it to another 3rd party.

Best Document Generator for SFDC

We had been using Salesforce's built in quote document tool to create customer facing documents. Anyone that has used it knows of the limitations of that feature of SFDC. I researched and discovered WebMerge. Installed it in our sandbox and had it running in minutes. They have an extensive trial period and after a few days realized it was the perfect affordable solution. Our documents look professional. Plus being able to use the document routing allows me to merge multiple documents into one. I am pulling in technical specifications from AWS S3 and merging into my quotes to create 1 document to give to the customer. WebMerge also helped me with the settings in AWS S3 to allow only WebMerge to access my data bucket.
I know there are many undiscovered uses that I am going to have for this product. Plus flexible pricing. You pay for number of merges - not number of pages.

We used to have a part-time contractor who manually created all of our contracts, but then she left to take a full-time job, and we were in a bind. We could either try to find another contractor to do this task, or we could try to automate it. I went searching for a way to automate our contracts, and boom discovered WebMerge. I was amazed from day one, and in the span of less than 10 days, we converted our manual contract into a completely automated process with our Clients filling out a Google Form, which pushes the data to a Google Sheet, which Zapier then shoots to WebMerge to populate the contract, which then shoots it to DocuSign for signatures, which finally shoots it into our Google Drive. The transformation of our contract process was amazing! So we immediately started pushing all of our unique document needs into WebMerge. We now have about 50 different documents that get created via WebMerge.

Best Document Generator for SFDC

Pros

The more I use this product, the more i find out new things that it can do. Extremely flexible document template creation. Can use your own MS Office documents for templates or create using WebMerge template builder. Extremely easy to get up and going in a few minutes by uploading an existing Word document with merge fields. The ability to add logic to the templates (formatting,hide fields,sort,etc) is a game changer. If the data is in SFDA, you can get it into a WebMerge document. Another feature that makes this product unique is that you can include a custom SFDC SOQL query in your mappings to merge in almost anything from SFDC.
Even as great as the software is, the support is even better. You submit a case and almost immediately get a response and a solution. If you post a question, you get a response almost immediately. WebMerge will email and and respond to your emailed replies. They will help you until you get a resolution/solution. They will give helpful tips about how to tackle your use case. I bet I emailed them a few times a day with different questions and they replied each time with support.
I cannot explain how helpful this product has been to me to accomplish what I needed to do and I am going to be able to do so many more things that I did not realize. Also a lot of helpful articles on their website.

Cons

Not really anything. If I had to pick something, when uploading a template to WebMerge - if you do get an error message at times it might be cryptic and hard to decipher but your error is usually easy to pick out of the message.

Pros

We're a small business (3 full-time employees, 2 part-time employees and 6 contractors), and we do about 150 events per year. That's 150 contracts, 150 Strategy Meeting Prep Sheets, 150 Final Details documents, 150 Night of Event documents, 150 post-event debrief documents. Using WebMerge, we're able to automate the creation of these documents, and it makes us look super professional and super organized.

Cons

We don't have any cons about this software. It's easy to use, works every time and is a reliable part of our business aparatus.

Pros

Easy to use - Looks great in finial output- Very fast - we get our submission back almost immediately and consistently over all the years of use.

Cons

I wish it didn't have to go through Zapier 1st from Gocanvas. I wish it went directly - from Gocavas to Webmerge/ FormStacks

Pros

WebMerge provides various templates and helps building the custom templates which can be merged with any kind of data. These documents can then be send to various contacts with our colleagues.
It helps integrating with various 3rd party applications.

Cons

The user interface needs the improvement to make the application user friend. The functionality seems fine as it helps merging the information well.

Pros

Formstack Sign as been a great addition to our business. Our sales force leverages multiple different platforms and back ends all that require different contracts and agreements for their customers. Using Formstacks easy to use process takes the guess work out for the sales force through providing a universal interface every time.

Cons

You can't send out partially filled out applications without it all being editable. Our sales people want to fill out the customer pricing, but have the customer fill out the rest. This system doesn't allow for that.
